How much does it cost to Lasik both eyes 20/20 vision?
I am only 14 and I am wondering when does my eye stop changing into a more worse state of matter? Is it a good idea to Lasik at age 17 because I want to become an United States Army Ranger and one requirement is 20/20 vision and i do not have it and it has crushed my day so far.

Do you have to be 20/20 uncorrected or corrected?
I’m in the process for the state police and they require 20/20 corrected and different levels uncorrected. I don’t see why your career choice would be any different. The FBI has the same requirements as the state police… many state and federal agencies are all the same.
I have the worst vision. However, corrected I have 20/20. I didn’t have the requirement for uncorrected, so I got lasik when I was 21. I then met the requirements (obviously). At 17… that’s risky. Your eyes are not done changing… so I would wait until you are in your 20′s. Talk to your eye doctor and get the right information.
LASIK is not an option for you my friend, specially if you are considering to become an United States Army Ranger. The only procedure that is allow is PRK. Here’s some info about the procedure http://lasik-secrets.com/PRK.html
