I am 20 and my right eye is -9.00 and my left eye is -8.5, but the left eye is looking a little fuzzy. I had an eye appointment about 5 months ago, and my prescription went from both eyes at -8.00 to my perscription at the top. I just got married too. So am I going to be blind in a couple of years if I don’t get lasik eye surgery now? And how much does it cost? Please help!!

went to the eye doc for a screening for lasik surgery. They keep urging me to get punctal plugs (plugs to keep your tears from draining out of your eyes to prevent "dry eyes"). Thing thing is that it costs an extra 0/eye for the plugs. Other option is using rewetting eye drops. vs 0. Is it better to get the plugs, or should I be cheap and use the re-wetting drops? Are there dangers by not doing the plugs? thanks for the help.
